Degrees: BA Musical Theatre from Birmingham Southern College; MFA Candidate Theatre Design and Technology from The University of Alabama

Background: Shea Glenn is a designer, technical director, and teacher. Before returning to Decatur, Shea had a lengthy professional career working at several esteemed theatre companies, including Highlands Playhouse, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, HersheyPark, and several academic institutions across Alabama. She has previously served as a Visiting Instructor of Technical Theatre at Birmingham Southern College (her alma mater), and is thrilled to be teaching full time again. Some of her favorite credits include: Jesus Christ Superstar, Company, Lizzie, and Something Rotten. Shea originally hails from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, but considers Decatur her “heart-town.” She is thrilled to be returning to the Decatur area and giving back to an arts community that invested so much in her as a young adult.
